My Name is John Torr, I have over 40 years experience in the metal finishing industry having worked in all fields of electro-plating and also as a technical representative for a number of supply houses both here and abroad. If you have a metal finishing problem I am available for a telephone consultation in the first instance. I will visit your premises by arrangement for a half or full day, working with your chemistry and providing independent, confidential advice. I am also available to project manage new plant or processes for any given metal finishing application. I can advise on the purchase of custom built equipment. I offer a wide variety of services right from plant design through to plant installation, i can provide expert knowledge on plant layout and optimization. It is important to have your plant in the most optimum layout to ensure maximum productivity, this is where my experience and years working on the "shop floor" come into play with all aspects of plant design.

Responsible for six automatic plating lines and effluent system, Brought into company by chairman to sort major problems with running of the chemistry and business in general, Coordinated plating contract with Nokia Telecom.
2001-2002: Works Manager Bodycote Knowsley
